RNGSA SPRING DEVELOPMENT WEEK (AT)


22-26 May - An expedition for 12 glider pilots to try gliding for the first time or develop their skills will be held at Lee on Solent run by Portsmouth Naval Gliding Club. It qualifies as Adventurous Training and is sponsored by DNPTS and the Sports Lottery to the tune of £200 per student with only a small personal contribution required.

RNGSA AUTUMN DEVELOPMENT WEEK (AT)

 

18-22 Sep - An expedition for 12 glider pilots to try gliding for the first time and 4 to develop their skills will be held at Lee on Solent, with the assistance of the Portsmouth Naval GC. It qualifies as Adventurous Training and is sponsored by DNPTS and the Sports Lottery to the tune of £200 per student with only a small personal contribution required.

BGA CLUB CLASS NATIONALS (S)


17-25 Jun – The RNGSA sanctioned event for this year is the Club Class Nationals to be held at the Gliding Centre, Husband’s Bosworth. RN TEAM TRAINING (S)

 

 Date tbc - The RNGSA Competition Member will organise a training opportunity for prospective and present members of the RN Inter Service Team. It is likely to take place at a BGA Regional Competition or as part of the Army Gliding Association Task Weeks at Upavon either 5-9 Jun or 10-14 Jul. INTER SERVICE GLIDING CHAMPIONSHIPS (S)

He is always looking for ground crew and a two-seat glider will be going, with an instructor, for crews and early cross-country pilots to enjoy.
